She received her Primary Medical Qualification (MBBS) completed from prestigious University Madras Medical College, Chennai. She completed her 2 years senior residentship Stanely Medical College, Chennai. She fulfilled her PG degree in Obstrectics and Gynanecology at Ramaiya Medical College, Bangalore. She also completed her diplomate of National Board(DNB) at Delhi at 2002. She attained her Member of Royal College of Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in London at 2003. She is also a member of National Board of Medical Sciences.
